Stephane Ghenacia Bio
As a real music-lover, Stephane Ghenacia has always collected vinyls and mixed for friends as a hobby. Moving in London, in 2010, was a key point in his career as he started nourishing a profound interest for music production while continuing his professional activity ; fashion and artists’ portrait photography. Little by little, Stephane built a strong network within the London music scene that allowed him to play randomly at Kubicle one night – the most exciting party at the moment – which gave him a first fame shot and convinced him to commit himself to music only. In the meantime, Stephane started to play more and more ; Kubicle in London, Toi Toi after parties, Lokee , etc. He was even invited to play in Ibiza for DC 10 after party, organized by the Kubicle crew, then to Cocoon after party, followed by a gig in Naples (Italy). And finally, the most important one ; Fabric (London), b2b with Guilhem Monin for the first Apollionia showcase. The duo will be playing at Fabric again on the 1st of March 2014. With a bunch of new tracks waiting to be released, Stephane Ghenacia has now developed a successful strategy ; to launch a party with his friends and partners Guilhem Monin and Adrienn Peterffy in early 2013, in hackney wick East London. The party would be a start for the boys to build their name and a place to promote their music on a very personal and authentic platform. But Colors Lnd has reached such an unexpected success that the party welcomes now nearly 800 persons. They have been supported already by DJs Craig Richard , Chez Damier,Dan Ghenacia, Ivan Smagghe, Danielle Moore (Crazy P), Jonny Rock, Ekkohaus, among others. Now strengthened by a prospering and well-known party, Stephane Ghenacia and his partners are about to launch Colors Lnd label with first releases remixed by Ivan Smagghe. The label will release the pair’s own tracks resulting from their 2 years of commitment to music production in their beginning, and fellow DJs Remi Mazet (Hot Waves, La Vie en Rose) and Thomas Roland.
